My favorite bike forum is over on AdvRider.com, and that's Ride Reports. In that forum, you'll find stories of journeys from a few days long to years. It's easy to get sucked in for hours reading the more fascinating ones.

The Sibirsky Extreme website covers a series of exploratory motorcycle journeys into the northern extremes of Russia and Siberia in 2009 and 2010 by Walter Colebatch and his occasional riding companions, Jonathan Fox, Tony Pettie, Terry Brown and Sherri-Jo Wilkins. The 2009 journey, The Sibirsky Extreme Project, included a ride further north into Asia than anyone had ridden before, and an historic first ride of the now legendary BAM Road. The Siberian Extreme Project 2010 included the first tour of the Road of Bones, in which Sherri-Jo Wilkins became the first foreign woman to ride the Road of Bones, and a unique motorcycle crossing of Mongolia from East to West.
Walter Colebatch, in addition to being a first class adventure motorcyclist, is also a skilled photographer and videographer. They're working on a DVD of their adventure, and have posted a few promo clips on YouTube. Here they are:
